Challenge
We here at Oak City Technology were approached by Matt Karash, a local Carolina Hurricanes hockey writer to produce a high quality modern website. Imperative to the design process was creating an easy to use, minimalist design website that fostered a place where a local hockey community could grow. To foster this, a membership feature had to be created as well as a vibrant forum that allowed for easy commenting on blogs and articles. The main goal was to create a new website designed primarily for mobile usability while also creating a new, sleek logo that fit with the culture of the community.
